- What is karma? What is the literal and spiritual meaning of the word?

- What is the law of karma, as explained in the Gita? Why is it sometimes so difficult to grasp this simple law - where does the confusion come from? What are the implications of the law of karma for our present and our future? How does a proper and deep understanding of this law help us live an easier and more meaningful life?

- What is karma yoga? How does one practise it?

Explore these questions in the context of explanations gleaned from references throughout the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita.

Related concepts to be touched on: dharma, as the purpose of one's life; attachment and detachment from our expectations and desires; intention and the law of karma.

Teachings by Pamposh Dhar, who studied the Bhagavad Gita in a six-month course with her spiritual mentor Vikas Malkani in 2006, and became a life-long follower of the wisdom teachings that can help one lead a happy and purposeful life.

Pamposh (me!) also teaches meditation and Reiki, and is a counsellor and personal development coach. She is interested in all the wisdom traditions of the world, including Buddhism, Sufism and the Toltec path.
